Newspapers are on the decline...

especially my local paper, The Aurora Beacon-News.

Each morning I put .75 cents into the vending machine at the train station for the daily edition.

Then while reading it I ask myself "Why?"

Not only is it filled with advertisement (including an entire "Automotive" insert each day), but it has become more and more obvious that they can no longer afford a proofreader...

The above article is in today's edition, consisting of two little paragraphs and SEVEN obvious typos.

Believe me, I have been known to post up a blog with a typo or two...

but this is not for a career what i do

That is sooo funny! I don't read the Beacon any longer. It seems to be more like a tabloid than a newspaper. I MISS YOU :( Let's get together soon.....lots to catch up on! xoxo
