The Lonely Glove Club

This week I have been shooting photos of lone gloves that have been dropped onto the ground in and around Chicago's Loop.

I feel so bad for them.

Abandoned.

No longer with their partners.

Alone.

Cold.

Wait...that is NOT a glove!

Nope, but I couldn't resist taking a photo of a lone Christmas slipper this morning!

oh so forlorning

I lost one of my gloves the other day (Sunday), but I found it.
Turns out the right hand glove just wanted to hang out alone on the couch in front of the TV.
Crazy a$$ed glove.
maybe the same for the gloves you shot, just hanging out of course the slipper wanted to step out alone...get it step out?
Cheer up my friend

in finland, we pick up the glove and place it on a branch to dry until it finds its owner. it's one of the finnish traditions i LOVE.

Ironically I was going to write about how I always think that there should be a "lost glove depository" or boxes on every other corner to put those kind of "found" items into so that others can use them.

Obviously you Fins are ahead of us in that department!!

It's funny how many people loose a glove. Great shots!
