Today....

my photographer son, Phillip and I are attending our second National Stuttering Association's Conference.

I again am asking for prayers that this trip be enlightening, enriching and awesomely rewarding for both Phillip and me, but especially for him, who as a little boy use to pinch himself and physically pull his jaw down in trying to get the words out; Phillip, who has grown into a bright, artistically talented young man, and who lets his photos “speak” on his behalf.

much much thanks again to the nsa staff

I know you will be enlightened and will come back and teach us all a thing or two or more.

The chips may be big but the double sided samwich would win the fight.

there is nothing wrong with a younger fella--as long as he is not your kid's BFF.

Be safe

Susan and Philip, have a safe journey and a fruitful conference. I would have loved to have been able to attend with you.

You will be amazed with the amount of incessant chatter that will take place.

Today I was part of an interview process for a new manager of our local Mental Health Association. The best candidate in my opinion and most of the others present was a gentleman who stuttered. He was so much more than his stutter.

I wish you both a safe trip and praying that when you leave the Conference you will be bringing much back with you.
