that is easy, right?

Just open your mouth and talk.

Talk, talk, talk, talk.

But what if EVERY TIME you opened your mouth to speak to someone outside of your very small circle of family and friends, the words got stuck in your head.

Thus causing you to stand silently, all the while trying to force the words out, for what seems to be an eternity, until some magical switch gets thrown in your brain, allowing the words to be said.

And because of that issue you have convinced yourself "it will never change" and "I am defective."

How would you, under those circumstances, cope?

someone needs hope

Well, sometimes when I dont know people I become really quiet. Which isnt at all like me... but I've found that being quiet when I dont know what to say is better than burbling like an idiot (which I've done more times than I can remember). :)

Eleanor is in her mid 30's I believe.

Are words truly that important? Trite as it may be - "Actions speak louder than words."

Many a day have I experienced a loved one in pain... I don't have words, only a hug.
